May 2023 - LATTC secures $599,970 in Employment Training Panel funds to train Manufacturing and Logistics compnaies.

October 2022 - LATTC secures $243,053 for Columbia College contract education funds.

December 2021 - LATTC secures $1,007,132 in Employment Training Panel funds for all industries including Non-profits, State and Government Agencies.

March 2021 - LATTC secures $449,642 in Employment Training Panel funds for Manufacturing companies.

March 2021 - LATTC secures $246,000 in ETP funds for the Pacific Asian Consortium in Employment (PACE).

March 2019 - LATTC secures $744,000 in Employment Training Panel funds focusing on the Logistics industry.

LACCD is awarded an AB 86 Adult Education Regional Consortium Planning Grant ($1,751,663) in collaboration with local Unified School Districts.

Background Information:

Dr. Chito Cajayon Dr. Chito Cajayon was the Vice Chancellor of the Los Angeles Community College District's (LACCD) Economic & Workforce Development Department. He brought close to 20 years of workforce and economic development experience to the district, which he applied on a daily basis to develop local, regional, and statewide initiatives. Now, he is a Dean at one of the District Colleges where he creates initiatives to achieve student success. Dr. Cajayon holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Cal State University-Long Beach, a Certification in website development, a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Cal State University-Dominguez Hills, and a Doctorate of Education from the University of Southern California.
