Los Angeles Hospitality/Tourism Regional Intermediary
is comprised of leaders from higher education,
labor, training funds, workforce development,
hospitality/tourism associations, and business
& industry, who are committed to working collaboratively
in order to achieve the following:
- Align education and training strategies to increase
the skills of workers
- Leverage resources throughout the workforce,
economic, and educational systems in order to
expand access to training services
- Identify and share skill requirements, high
quality hiring trends and technological advancements
- Collaborate on local, regional, and federal
grant opportunities in order to enhance the lives
of hospitality/tourism workers and ensure movement
up career ladders. |
