The Career & Technical Education (CTE) component of
the LACCD Office of Economic & Workforce Development
is responsible for providing centralized leadership
and administrative responsibility for the LACCD Carl
D. Perkins/Career & Technical Education Act of 2006
(Perkins IV) funding.
This component provides leadership to the LACCD community
college CTE divisions and works directly with college-based
CTE Deans on all topics relating to the Perkins IV,
Title IC Program. The CTE component represents the district
on matters relating to regional and state level CTE
initiatives. It acts as the liaison between state-level
